MATERIALS
- Wallpaper (we’ve used two different designs)
- A3 size cardboard
- Large plate / Side Plate
- Cutting Mat and Scalpel / Scissors
- Ruler
- Glue gun
- Stapler
- Batteries (optional)
- Fairy lights (optional)
- Ribbon (optional)
Use your large plate to draw the bigger circle on your piece of cardboard, then use the smaller plate to draw the smaller circle creating a “ring”:
Cut around the outside of the largest circle. Make an X mark with the scissors in the centre of the circle to help you cut the inner circle. Don’t worry about being too neat as it won’t be seen.
Find a simple template – we chose a leaf – and use it to draw lots of them on the back of the wallpaper. The number that you’ll require will vary depending on how close together you will be placing the leaves (for reference, we used around 70 leaves on our wreath).
Pinch the leaf together at the base and staple together to give the leaves a bit of dimension, then using the glue gun start to glue the leaves to the card circle and repeat.
Voila!
